Do you ever post journal-like entries or is it all business now?

Life is a Highwayhighway on July 16th, 2005 10:11 pm (UTC)
I'm sorry if my previous journal entries appears to be business-oriented. I guess I can't have all my journal entries about some political, religious or sexual-orientation issue.

But to answer your question, no, it's not all about business and I have posted journal entries that dealt more with the human factor. Here are some of those entries. Feel free to peruse them:

Sorry if my recent postings offended you in any way.

I don't need an apology. I just feel like your posts are half pictures, half business. My journal is mostly politics, I know.

No offense at all. Hopefully my comment about it hasn't offended you.

Since I have my own webserver that I operate and manage, I have set up my own personal blog site and I don't post as often on LiveJournal.

Right now, I guess I treating LiveJournal more as a photojournal and with a camera phone, the pictures that I take and submit to flickr.com automatically posts to LiveJournal.

In regards to this last post, I felt it would be easier to post here than to send out e-mails to everyone asking if want to be a referral.

It's a program that our company had created to promote a "customer oriented", we have to commit ourselves to the program which involves:

* experiencing the new products and services first hand
* attend a marketing research seminar
* attend and listen in a customer call to understand the customer experience
* interview a small business owner to get his/her view about the internet
* refer 3 people/business to go to the website and to try out the products
for 1 year at a 50% discounted price.

It's a hassle but I get to submit my chance to win a trip for two to Australia and earn mileage points. :)

:) :)

*raises hand* Question!

Not sure if I told you but the hubby and a friend of his have a small business. Does your company make the websites or just act as a host server for them?

The company I work for, Network Solutions, LLC -- is a domain registrar that also provides webhosting services (windows and unix-based).

I do basic webdesigning and programming on the side.
