During the first night in San Jose, we (my fianceé and I) were invited to dinner by some friends of her mom in San Francisco. It's was a nice drive along route 280. We had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant, very good food.
The next day, after breakfast, we proceeded to the outlet stores and bought some kitchenware (pizza cutter and a peeler), some crystal candle holders, and other stuff ... 8% sales tax in California!
BTW: this wireless network card is awesome! I can connect to the internet from anywhere in or around the house! I can be social and websurf at the same time.
Later in the day (after lunch at McDonald's) and shopping at the outlets, we stopped by a place called Fry's Electronics ... a Best Buy-type store here in San Jose. I didn't buy anything because I would (1) have to pay 8% sales tax and (2) pack it away for the flight home. Nah... too much stuff as is that we're taking home.
In the evening, we had a barbeque steak dinner and relaxed the rest of the night.
That's about all for now.
