Have you ever seen the movie "Final Destination" where the premise of the movie is a student with a vision of the future, changed the fates of several students, surviving a plane disaster that was suppose to claim them all. But, in the master design of the Death's plan, he comes back to for each of them, one at a time.
Well, today, while driving to work, I was witnessed an horrendous car accident -- I was no more than probably 50-75 feet behind the car when it happened. A blue SUV appeared to have lost control and skidded side ways until it slid to the left jersey wall, hitting two other cars. Upon impact against the wall, the vehicle spun at least 2 times before coming down on itself, smashing the hood and roof of the vehicle. Coming to rest, the car was upside down, the driver still within the vehicle, the entire front end of the car was flatten/smashed.
I spotted the accident as it occurred and I was no further than 75 feet away from it. I was able to bring my car to a crawl making sure that the vehicles behind me were slowing down too. This is the kind of accident that could have caused multiple accidents of other vehicles.
With the fear of the vehicle exploding, I slowly placed some distance between the vehicle and myself. There were already people there, stopped -- I didn't need to add my vehicle to the mix, rubbernecking.
