Morgan Webb 2

10 months...

I've often heard that a human baby's nine months inside a mother's womb is not enough and if he/she (the fetus) had his/her way, he/she would stay in the womb for another month to properly prepare him/herself for the adjustment of being outside of the womb environment.

Bryan is now 11 days old and has developed the pattern of being totally comatose during the hours of the day, three hours at a time. At night, he would stir every 10-15 minutes looking for a feeding (or drink, it's the same during the breastfeeding stages).

Sleep deprivation is now our biggest enemy and although I'm a night person, Bryan doesn't fancy the bottle nipple thus requiring me to wake the sleep-needing wife for her assistance in feeding otherwise I would simply use the stored breastmilk in the frig.

So, this is to continue for the next couple of weeks.

Sometimes, I feel totally incapable to provide help with the baby.
