This is our first visit to Matuba Japanese Restaurant (http://www.matuba-sushi.com/matuba/Home_.html) but our 2nd time at a sushi place that offered its sushi on a conveyor belt-like system. The first rotary sushi bar in the D.C. Metropolitan Area.
It is probably best that the food was offered as a buffet cause our bill could have easily been more than $120.00 if each dish was an average of $2.50 per plate. I think we ate about 60-some plates (not including salad and soup bowls). We ate enough dishes to make two complete towers of 35-40 dishes stacked. The buffet cost $17.95 per person for dinner ($12.95 for lunch, Mon-Fri and $14.50 for lunch on Saturday).
In the end, we were well fed with sushi. Worth a return visit.
